NUTRITION

Untitled-1400-x-933-px-2.png

Our approach and work on nutrition promote it as a fundamental building block of equity and equal opportunity in societies. Nutritional problems affect generations, compromising their future potential and creating a cycle of poverty and malnutrition.

Sufficient nutrition is our first defence against disease and the first step to well-being.

Our work consists of engaging with experts to explore a diversity of approaches to address key issues such as undernutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, and obesity and advocate on these issues. We also examine factors shaping food systems and how they relate to non-communicable diseases.

We partner with governments, key partners, experts, and civil society to identify key issues and work to improve evidence-led strategies for addressing nutrition and food security challenges.
